About This Quote

Science has taken our understanding of the universe to a point where we are able to explain much of what happens in the universe. We know the laws of science. Science has taken us beyond religion to an understanding of the universe that is able to explain many mysteries. There are many who would say that religion must give way to science if it’s ever going to be able to answer all of its questions.

As Christians, we believe that God created the universe and that He is still active in nature today, even though He only reveals himself through His Word, not through science. God created all things by His word and by his power, so science doesn’t offer us any answers about how it all works. While there are some things we can learn from science, there are also some things that science doesn’t understand, things about which it will never know anything at all.
